A few bucks in your pocket.
A Nice house and car.
A well paid job...taking care of the extended family...nothing too profound, a few houserents you paid, a few monthly allowance and you earn the most respected member amongst your kinsmen.
Yet you feel your the dazzling shinning gallant knight in an armour.
Okay...let's rewind this a bit.....
Growing up...you had nobody to cater for you, so you worked hard...really hard and now you have carved a niche for you and your family. No decision gets made without your approval....and your like the great uncle or aunt everyone talks about and wants to spend the xmas with.
So....because you help them, they automatically have to serve you too?
You talk to any of them like you want to, besides your paying their rent. They come over to do your little dirty works, wash your clothes, clean the house, run odd errands. I understand there's a price to pay but it shouldn't be the ultimate goal.
Perhaps, you don't fall into that category, rich kid....with servants, house maids, cleaners in the office, hair stylists, drivers, etc...
Give without expecting...freely you have recieved, freely you should give.
"Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but
small ones surround us every day."
—Sally Koch
"It's important to give without expecting anything in
return, rather than keeping a tally of whom we've
helped and who has helped us. Silence and service go
hand in hand. Random acts of kindness, particularly
those anonymously accomplished, reflect a healthy
non-attachment to deed or outcome."
— Chelle Thompson,
Don't be blinded by the class system in this world...look beyond, too bad many people don't pay thoughts to the life after now....be kind to everyone.
My heart sinks when I see a person of low status being the object of stigmatization and bully just because another feels highly placed.
No matter how rich you are, 'e get person wey rich you, you wey be oga MD, owner of company big pass you.'
Even Matt 11:11 says; 'truly of all men ever born, none shines more brightly than John the baptist andd yet even the lesser lights in the kingdom of Heaven will be greater than he is.'....IMAGINE!!!
"Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness, and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward.
Your life will never be the same again."
